Stoas University of applied sciences and teacher education
organizes an International Course.
This course is set up for international students from countries in the European Union and outside. The course is meant for students who want to increase their knowledge in the area of education and in the area of knowledge management. The course is “competence-based”, which means that the objectives are aimed at covering knowledge and skills the graduates will need in their future jobs as teachers, consultants, advisers, managers, international workers, entrepreneurs, etc.
Competence based also means that the curriculum consists of components, which support the students to do their work in an effective, successful and efficient way.
General course features
Students are trained in areas such as:
- Teaching and training methods
- Knowledge systems and personal management
- Oral and written communicational skills
- ICT and digital presentation techniques
- Entrepreneurship in the agricultural and nature-based companies and in the public sector
- Designing innovative training material and the implementation of this material
- Creating and defending the own thesis
Bachelor degree
After passing the final assessments of each professional situation the graduate will be awarded with an international Degree: Bachelor in Education (BEd).
