Stoas University of applied sciences and teacher education aims at sharing the experience and knowledge in the ‘global village’.
First of all Stoas participates actively in the international networks ENTER (network for learning and teaching in agricultural and rural area’s) and EUROPEA (association of agricultural education).
Secondly Stoas University Works with international partners in several projects.
For example:
- Authentic learning in land-based situations.
- Self responsible learning.
- Development of teachers problem solving methods at school.
Stoas University is active in delivering 'Technical Assistance' in international projects.
For example:
- Restructuring vocational education in the Russian Federation.
- Teaching and training methodology and development of training materials for innovative entrepreneurship development in Latvia.
Short courses and tailor made training
Stoas University offers short courses on demand. For example:
- Teaching & Training methodology.
- Competence based learning and assessing.
- Multicultural education.
- Development of teaching or training materials.
Stoas teachers and trainers are competent on a pedagogical and didactical level and are experts in the rural, agricultural, land-based and nature-based sector.
